On September 24, 2026 the Prague Centre for Middle East Relations (PCMR) at CEVRO University in collaboration with the Slovak organisation Khayrion and the Syrian Omran Center for Strategic Studies organized a closed-door expert event in Damascus, Syria, on the topic of “Syria in Transition: Regional Dynamics and V4 Engagement”, attended by Syrian government officials, researchers and experts, alongside diplomats and representatives of think tanks from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. The event was held under the Chatham House Rules. Across four sessions, experts discussed Syria’s political transformation and security, changes in the regional landscape, economic reconstruction, and opportunities to develop relations between the V4 countries and Syria.

Dne 24. září 2026 uspořádalo Centrum blízkovýchodních vztahů (PCMR) CEVRO Univerzity společně se slovenskou organizací Khayrion a syrským Omran Center for Strategic Studies uzavřenou odbornou akci v syrském Damašku na téma „Sýrie v transformaci: Regionální dynamika a zapojení V4“ za účasti syrských vládních představitelů, výzkumníků a expertů spolu s diplomaty a zástupci think-tanků z Česka, Maďarska, Polska a Slovenska. Akce se konala podle pravidel Chatham House. Ve čtyřech blocích odborníci diskutovali o politické transformaci a bezpečnosti Sýrie, změnách v regionálním uspořádání, hospodářské obnově nebo i možnostech navazování vztahů mezi zeměmi V4 a Sýrií.
