Dne 28. 4. 2026 komentoval Filip Sommer, ředitel Centra blízkovýchodních vztahů (PCMR) CEVRO Univerzity, v podcastu KRIZE portálu Voxpot aktuální a značně nepřehledný vývoj na Blízkém východě. Debata se točila kolem omezení lodní dopravy v Hormuzském průlivu nebo například popisovala situaci, kdy sice lze pozorovat řadu „příměří“, která mají k reálné deeskalaci daleko, a která je komplikována protichůdnými veřejnými vyjádřeními amerického prezidenta. On April 28, 2026, Filip Sommer, Director of the Prague Center for Middle East Relations (PCMR) at CEVRO University, commented on the current and highly ambiguous developments in the Middle East in the KRIZE podcast by Voxpot. The discussion focused, among other things, on the disruption of maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz and described a situation in which multiple so-called “ceasefires” can be observed, yet remain far from genuine de-escalation, further complicated by contradictory public statements from the U.S. president.
