The paper focuses on the management of aggressive patient behavior in outpatient healthcare settings, which represents a significant safety, organizational, and psychosocial risk for healthcare professionals. The aim of the study is to describe the structure of the most common forms of aggression in outpatient environments and to propose a decision-making algorithm model that supports the early identification of risk behavior, the prevention of conflict escalation, and the selection of appropriate interventions. The author draws on a synthesis of relevant academic literature, practical experience, and an analysis of the specific characteristics of outpatient facilities, which are typically characterized by limited personnel and technical resources. The outcome is a practically oriented model that can be used as a methodological tool for healthcare staff, aimed at enhancing occupational safety, protecting patients, and ensuring the continuity of care delivery.
