Vedle oslabeného Hamásu a Hizballáhu a vzdálených Húthíů má Írán v boji s Izraelem ještě jednu sílu – irácké šíitské milice. Tito spojenci íránského teokratického režimu zatím se zapojením do války váhají.

In addition to the weakened Hamas and Hezbollah and the distant Houthis, Iran has another force in the fight with Israel - Iraq's Shia militias. These allies of the Iranian theocratic regime have so far been hesitant to join the war.
