Kapitola popisuje systém financování sociálních služeb v České republice v kontextu zákona č. 108/2006 Sb., o sociálních službách, a uvádí různé zdroje financování a mechanismy rozdělování prostředků. Zaměřuje se na bariéry, nerovné podmínky a nejistotu financování u různých druhů neziskových organizací jako poskytovatelů sociálních služeb. Reflektuje také aktuální problémy financování sociálních služeb v České republice zahrnující jednak nedostatek veřejných prostředků v souvislosti s demografickým vývojem, jednak nevyhovující platové podmínky zaměstnanců. V kapitole není opomenuta ani problematika financování sociálních služeb během pandemie COVID-19.

The chapter describes the system of financing social services in the Czech Republic in the context of Act No. 108/2006 Coll., on social services, and presents various sources of financing and mechanisms for distributing funds. It focuses on barriers, unequal conditions and uncertainty of financing for various types of non-profit organizations as providers of social services. It also reflects on current problems of financing social services in the Czech Republic, including both the lack of public funds in connection with demographic development and inadequate salary conditions for employees. The chapter also does not neglect the issue of financing social services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
